The Final Word from "The Right Reverend Jacob Bogle"

*This is rather lengthy so I have color coded it, my words are red his are blue*

Usually I take personal attacks as they come and tend to ignore them however a very persistant individual has made that difficult. As you know there was an attempt to use me in attacking Dr. Ron Paul by lumping me with racists and neo-Nazis thus making the accusation that Dr. Paul is a racist, as well as myself.

My first reaction was to ignore it then after finding the article on multiple sites I became rather enraged at the absurdity of it all so, I reacted. I posted a reply to the sites I could as well as on this blog and the SL site. I then sent an e-mail to the guy demanding that he remove my name and the name of my organizations. Heres the e-mail:

"Your blog entitled Ron Paul Campaign Runs a Neo-Confederate Leader's Endorsement, leds people to believe that I am a racist and involved with neo-Nazi groups.
Nothing can be further from the truth. Your post is filled with factual errors and presuppositions. I demand you remove the article and post a retraction. Such defamatory claims violate the law and lack personal integrity."

Instead of a reply I found my e-mail with his response on another of this nameless authors blogs:

"Honorary Paultard and Southern Party Leader the Reverend Jacob Bogle (actually a 24 year old med student who founds lots of Southern pride organizations) got a little hot under the collar and harnessing the mighty power of his email, threatened to sue me.To put this into context, Ron Paul supporters have spent a week screaming that Jamie Kirchik would be sued. Those same folks screamed when I exposed Jim Perry as a fraud that they would sue me. Because those great lovers of the constitutions are not fans of free speech, when it criticizes their messiah slash candidate.Now my post on Jacob Bogle, FAS demonstrated that the Ron Paul campaign had run an endorsement from a neo-confederate party leader.

--As usual detractors begin with childish name-calling and hot air. I was a little hot under the collar, being from the South I am used to a general amount of respect that is so common amongst Southern people. You will note that I did not threaten to sue him but stated that libelous claims violate law. Being that I am for free speech I have not asked, nor have any inclination to, ask him to change his statements regarding Dr. Paul. --

My Dear Southern Party Leader,Dear Jacob,please list these specific factual errors in my post.I stated that you celebrate the idea of the confederacy, had an essay on natural segregation and a poem that called for the restoration of the confederacyI did not state anywhere that you were a neo-nazi, as to whether you are a racist, that is your business. Maybe you can somehow argue that you love a system that perpetuated the enslavement of black men and women and run poems calling for its return not be a racist, but those kind of mental convolutions are your problem.My post pointed out the racist and neo-confederate links in the Ron Paul campaign and their determination to clumsily hide them. You were a subset of that as you are a neo-confederate. Your law of natural segregation page, which you took down once I linked to it, doesn't exactly make you the champion of civil rights either.Now in his defense on Liberty Post, Jacob Bogle states that
Lew Rockwell, Thomas DiLorenzo and others are among this nations intellectual elite, it is beyond explanation why someone would try to suggest they are anything but outstanding individuals. Now the funny thing is that Ron Paul's former staffer Eric Dondero and Reason Magazine as well as others have pinned some of Ron Paul's racist newsletters on Lew Rockwell, including his "95 percent of black males are criminals" tirade. It seems that Bogle has no problem with Rockwell."

What offends me such and what has no real accuracy is the assumption that the Confederacy was a negative part of our past. I could write hundreds of pages in defense of the Confederacy but I will not. I included in my original reply some of the lesser known defense of the South. The article gives the reader the presupposition that being pro-South means being racist. This is also a complete lie. I am not ashamed of my Confederate Heritage nor do I hide from my Southern Pride. I do however strongly object to being lumped in with racists, neo-Nazis and others who would snuff the flame of liberty.
Lew Rockwell is a great intellectual and has many provocative ideas. I never said that I was in total support of anyones personal views, even Dr. Paul and I have some disagreements. As for Thomas DiLorenzo I almost want to laugh when a person says that he is not part of academia.

Although it may be unpopular to state facts such as DiLorenzo has, they are never the less fact. As a person who cherishes knowledge nearly more than anything else I find it beyond ignorant to trade political correctness for truth and science.

So now we are on to the 2nd e-mail I sent:

A prime example of this is inside either a class room or large meeting, look around and you will find people in groups regardless of the amount of diversity. Natural segregation is a totally natural process and is the way in which a society and culture form.

There is nothing sinister about that and you would be hard pressed to find an educated person who disagrees. You allow the assumption that the "Law of Natural Segregation" and myself are in some way radical, involved with racists and so on by not giving the text in your blog and by lumping me with radical groups such as the Council of Conservative Citizens.

As for removing it, I did so because it did have misspellings and to allow people to read my reply. The full essay will be back up in the next few days. You can however find a copy via Google cache, un-altered.

It amazes me how detractors will attempt to smear things and individuals, which are totally benign, by selective wording and childish name calling. Just for the record what is your actual name, or do you not stand by what you say.

And his reply was again via the blog. I have never seen anyone so determind to not write me directly.

Because you can't keep a good leader down. No siree, he'll send you more angry emails upset because you replied in a blog instead of hand delivering an email to him sealed with a kiss.

--Once more I never threatened to sue him. In general I tend to frown on law suites on both religious grounds and for personal reasons. It amazes me at the seeming lack of an end to these petty remarks "green tutu" please! I look much better in Confederate Grey!--

Press harder, I'm an educated person and I disagree. When such an essay is written up by a neo-confederate group, it sounds rather disturbingly like the opening for an apologetic for enforced segregation. In the same way that a NAMBLA article on child brides in aboriginal culture isn't going to read like some innocuous anthropological overview.

I shouldn't have needed to give the text since I linked to it on your page, which you took down and replaced with something about Ron Paul. Attacking me for not saving a copy of your segregation piece when you were the one who took it down is laughably dishonest.

It's also no wonder why you completly ignored what Dr. Paul actually said about the Civil War and made it sound like he was a loon. Taking the page down for several weeks suggests you didn't want people to see it.

The piece had been on-line for at least 3 years, I hardly think I was hiding anything. I took it down so, when people clicked your link it took them to my defense and explination of the darn thing. As for taking it down for several weeks thats absured this entire thing has been going on for a relativly short time. At anyrate the page did not contain the whole thing and the complete paper was not online. The enitre bit on the "Law of Natural Segregation" will be up shortly. If anyone is that concerned about it look it up via Google cache in all its "bare-boned" glory.

I wonder why he didn't include my question about his name? Generally people who just want to either pick a fight or babble from the mouth rarely uses their real name. It also keeps them from accepting responsibility when they are found wrong. --

Oh remember when the Rev was saying he hadn't threatened to sue me. Okay so now we're back to threatening to vaguely threatening to sue me, whatever 'between third parties' means.

--Try again, third parties means that I have the option of reporting you to the forums you have now made me apart of. --

Now you'll note I asked him several times to list any specific defamatory statements I've made, which he has failed to do, instead he's claimed that I 'represent' him and his movement in a defamatory way. A dead end claim legally. There is no such thing as a legal right to not be criticized on the internet, as any number of companies and individuals have discovered.

--Nor have you given any attempt at acting like a decent person. Depending on future events it is more than possible I could take legal action and have the right to do so. This is something that I did think about but in the end if I am being attack because I support a man who wishes to restore this nation, enforce the Constitution, create a peaceful foreign policy and rebuild our limping economy then I suppose I am actually doing rather well.--

The Rev. Bogle has not replied to any of the points I raised and doesn't seem to be able to defend his views. Which suggests that this whole email charade was an attempt to intimidate me into taking down a negative post, this is of course typical of the behavior of Ron Paul supporters who claim to want free speech but act as free speech terrorists when dealing with anyone whose views are critical of them.

I have replied to nearly every "point" you have made. And I think the number of sites I have either built, contributed to or have been quoted on does a great deal to defend my veiws. You may also like to read some books such as "The Real Lincoln" by Thomas DiLorenzo, "The South was Right" by James and Donnie Kennedy, and "From Union to Empire" by Clyde Wilson or "The Grey Book" by the LOS. Some articles you may be interested in are "Power, Legitamacy and the 14th Amendment" by Joseph Fallon or perhaps "A Response to Attacks on Confederate Symbols and History" by Michael T. Griffith.

In the end you have refused to give your name, insist on attacking with petty insults and continue to give the assumption that the Confederacy and Southern Heritage are bad.

This is the last reply on this subject. I have no desire for a person to not voice their disagreements. I am very much in favor of free speech but in general if you are wanting to levy a reasonable disagreement you try to use honorable tactics. I am saddened by the apparent lack of sight the "Sultan" has when it comes to things that are so easy to see. There is little doubt in my mind that soon enough I will find another post to his blog, perhaps this will garner him more readers and I wish him well.

If those who are against Dr. Paul and his platform of peace, prosperity and liberty work so hard to pull an obscure figure such as myself, in an attempt to discredit both, should simply give up. It's not working, Dr. Paul raised $20 million last quarter and over $3 million so far this quarter by over 100,000 donors, cheap tricks like this won't do anyting but provide you attention and make me hungry for fried chicken and sweet tea.

Several days ago a man posted to his blog calling Dr. Ron Paul and myself and related organizations racists and neo-Nazis. After being in the political world for a time you get used to the babbling of the under-educated, however, I feel it necessary to repond to this particular attack as it does not deal soley with me.

My reply is as follows:

After reading the blog by "Sultan Knish" my first reaction was to ignore it, after all, reviewing the facts would surely prove how absurd the thing was. However, due to the negative light it places both myself and Dr. Paul in I felt it imperative I reply. This reply shall be a point by point correction of this persons highly skewed blog.

"Most people won't spend too much time poking through the list of obscure figures listed on the Ron Paul 2008 website as endorsing Ron Paul for President. The Ron Paul campaign has carefully sanitized the list excluding notorious racist Ron Paul supporters like Pat Buchanan, Larry Pratt or David Duke or burying them in the Acclaim section (itself a dishonest list that includes Ron Paul opponents like Giuliani and dead figures like Ronald Reagan who aren't remotely endorsing Ron Paul's Presidential campaign), though they clumsily did leave in Don R. Griffin, Buchanan's Missouri campaign chairman."

It would be obvious that acclaim is not an endorsement rather "acclaim" as defined as praise or positive comment. Christians differ with the doctrine of the Muslim faith but many, including myself, have commented on the strength of character of its adherents and the historical importance of the religion.

"But that is a typical example of the list being sanitized when it comes to the more famous or infamous figures, but camouflaged when it comes to the less famous ones. Case in point under Pastors and Clergy, the Rev. Jacob Bogle listed on the nomination only as "Rev. Jacob Bogle FAS". The Rev writes; "It is my honor to endorse Rep. Ron Paul for president in 2008. His message is one which transcends all barriers, political, socioeconomically, religious ad nauseam. For more than 20 years Dr. Paul has proven himself to be not only a true patriot and Constitutionalist but also a real friend of the people. His flawless voting record and strength of character proves that he and he alone is the best candidate for president. The nation has lost its way but praise be to Providence we have a man who has the message, know-how and drive to help show us back to our once glorious days."

This is indeed what I wrote. Fame is in the eye of the beholder, thanks to this little piece I'm sure I will be even more famous.

To suggest camouflage is suggesting that I have an alterior motive or that I was hiding something. Nothing could be further from the truth. I am a person of some regional importance and simply wanted to offer my support to Dr. Paul, there is little extra I could have gained from doing so and in fact I could have taken fire from supporters of other candidates, not to mention people such as the author of this blog.

"Jacob Bogle is actually the Chairman of the Southern Party of Tennessee, the Tennessee Division Commander of the Southern Confederate Front, the former Vice Chairman of the Southern Independence Party of Tennessee and oh yes, the creator of the Jefferson Davis Fan Club. In other words he's a neo-confederate and he does not appear to be a working minister."

I am not currently active in the Southern Movement and have not been for over a year. The term "Neo-Confederate" means "new Confederate" I am not a "new" Confederate rather I support the historical cause that the South fought for from 1861-65 and I support the legal claims that the Southern States have for independence. Philisophically I am Southern, plain and simple. I shall go into this in greater detail later. As for me not being a "working minister" I provide many educational services for individuals and organizations dealing with theology and philosophy.

I cannot defend the misspellings except to say the article was written ,some 3 years or so ago, in haste and I am dyslexic. After writing it I never went back to the page. As for the "Law" itself, if one cares to read it they will find that all it states is " Individuals separate themselves, free of outside interference, according to similar cultures, languages, races, professions and other shared experiences." There is nothing sinister to that and is a generally accepted social fact. A brief look through history will show that during the times of forced busing it was not the idea of integration that caused some of the riots, it was the forcable nature of it. When people are allowed to structure society according to their own cultural means they will live together in a much more peaceable way. When governments move in to force such a drastic change it creates hatred and resentment on both sides.

"The only way to move at all
Is to tear it down and watch it all fall
And from the ashes of a government torn
Can liberty be resurrected and freedom reborn
But not until this dead limb is removed
Can the so-called "American Legacy" be disproved
That dream is but a battle cry away
And tomorrow we could be singing God Bless the CSA!!!"

This poem, as poems are, is an artistic expression of a political conflict. "Tear it down" refers to the clause in the Declaration of Independence stating that peoples have the right to peacefully remove a government they feel no longer meets the needs of the people and to rebuild one which better defends their safety and happiness. "Dead limb" is suggestive of the federal government which many feel is no longer working and is beyond repair. As for "American Legacy" it is referring to the legacy of large centralized government and socialist economic policies. I doubt any intellectual could find historical or logical faults in any of the ideas supported by myself or the former Southern Party of Tennessee.

"The CSA by the way is the Confederate States of America. It's an interesting endorsement for a man running for the office of the President of the United States, but perhaps not so surprising considering that Ron Paul counts plenty of neo-confederates as his friends. Ron Paul has even appeared as a spokesman at a neo-confederate conference on the theme of "The Once and Future Republic of Texas"."

Dr. Ron Paul has, on several occasions, said that just because people share his philosophies does not mean that he shares theirs. This is a typical attack with absolutely no factual backing. Blogs such as this merely prey on the "knee-jerk" reactions of people and attempts to paint a negative picture using highly biased, selected words.

"None of this can be too surprising for anyone watching Ron Paul's shameful appearance on Meet the Press with Tim Russert where he insisted that the civil war was wrong and that the whole matter should have been settled by buying up all the slaves. Now this was typical neo-confederate propaganda because it concedes the premise that millions of human beings were property to be paid for and that the United States was at fault."

Dr. Paul said, that the way in which we carried out a conflict instead of some form of peaceful action was wrong and suggested that that one way could have been buying the slaves. Nearly every modern society abolished slavery without a war, Dr. Paul was simply using England as an example. It is very clear that this blog was written without checking facts or statements.

"The fact of the matter though was that the Civil War was not fought because the government refused to pay for the slaves, like the Cold War it was a collision between two economic systems, the individual initiative of American settlers and the slave system that was fought out in places like Kansas before erupting into civil war. Slavery was an economic system, one that enslaved millions of black people and reduced millions of whites to the bottom of the economic ladder. It began with indentured servants and ended with people like Jefferson breeding and owning their own wife's half-sister. It was backed both by big business in the North and the South and it was not going to go away on its own for decades if not longer."

You are right in stating that the war was fought over conflicting economic systems, however, it was also fought over the rights of the individual States and the fact that Lincoln was did not carry a single Southern State in the election. If it was simply over slavery one might wonder why the Indian Territory sided with the Confederacy or why at least 65,000 African-Americans volunteered to fight for the South. It is also curious to note that Gen. Grant owned slaves and the tens of thousands of slaves in the Northern States. If the war was fought over slavery why did Lincoln say this in his first Inaugural Address "I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so." Let us not forget the Lincoln-Douglas Debates where he time and time again stated his un-kind views towards slaves. On the issue of slavery we must not forget the many whites and Native-Americans who were held as slaves both North and South. Or the fact that no Confederate ship ever traded slaves. If the Confederacy was such a socially backwards place why then was Judah Benjamin, a Jew, the Secretary of State and Jefferson Davis' right hand man? I could go for hours on this absurd notion but let me say this, the Civil War was fought because of the disagreement about a perpetual union and proper role of the federal government economically, not a singular issue. Also I would like to point out that the Confederacy had been reviewing plans to free all the slaves without a single drop of blood being spilled.

"Of course Ron Paul knows this and he knows quite well that he's reciting neo-confederate propaganda. Just as his policies are not about the Constitution, neo-confederates have of course always used the Constitution as a cloak, but they are about dismantling the United States, pruning down the Federal government and replacing it with a Confederacy under the guise of States Rights, also the key rallying call of Neo-Confederates."

Dr. Paul is an expert on the Constitution, how do I know this? All a person has to do is read it. The Constitution is written in a way which is easy to understand and is very clear on the role of the government. I ask what part of the 10th Amendment is so hard to understand? In case anyone doesn't know the text, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. " I ask what is wrong with limiting the size of the Federal government? It seems as though you are a person in support of heavy government interference. We do not exist for the service of governments they exist for our benefit. Rights do not come from any government, they come from God and governments can't take them away. The Southern Movement does not seek to abolish the entire Federal government. It seeks to restore the legal claims that the Southern people and States have to self-determination. Any first year law student can attest to the fact that the Civil War ,as an instrument of governance, was illegal. Any State in 1860 or 2008 has the right to peacefully form itself into a sovereign nation. Also Dr. Paul and I have never met so how would he "know" these things you claim?

"Take a look at this apologetic for the Confederacy on the Lew Rockwell website and its emphasis on the Constitution and the rights of States. It's of course virtually identical to Ron Paul's themes and not only does the author support Ron Paul but Lew Rockwell was Ron Paul's former Congressional Chief of Staff who authored Ron Paul's infamous newsletter claiming that 95 percent of black men are criminals. Lew Rockwell itself featured outright racists like Sam Francis who openly endorsed slavery. And while Sam Francis is dead, Ron Paul supporters continue quoting him in defense of Ron Paul. Neo-Nazi leader Bill White listed Sam Francis along with Joe Sobran and Pat Buchanan (both current Ron Paul supporters) as the founders of a regular dinner later taken over by Council of Conservative Citizens aka David Duke and the KKK, writing; Both Congressman Paul and his aides regularly meet with members of the Stormfront set, American Renaissance, the Institute for Historic Review, and others at the Tara Thai restaurant in Arlington, Virginia, usually on Wednesdays. This is part of a dinner that was originally organized by Pat Buchanan, Sam Francis and Joe Sobran, and has since been mostly taken over by the Council of Conservative Citizens. Now Ron Paul has the right to believe whatever he wants and to run for public office. He has the right to accept the endorsements of neo-confederates though it isn't legal for him to act on them. But at the bare minimum, he needs to be honest about it. Instead his campaign clumsily tries to camouflage his ties with the far right as they keep trying to put lipstick on the pig. The problem is that underneath it all the Emperor of the Racist is naked. For bonus points, the clergy list of endorsements contains Bill Barnwell, another Lew Rockwell contributor, whose obsessions are the evils of the Jews, Israel, the War on Terror and conservative Evangelical Christians in that order."

Again let me stress that Dr. Paul does not endorse the ideas of racism or even the goals of the Southern Movement. I do not endorse the ideals of racism, the KKK or the Council of Conservative Citizens. Lew Rockwell, Thomas DiLorenzo and others are among this nations intellectual elite, it is beyond explanation why someone would try to suggest they are anything but outstanding individuals. It is clear that this blog serves only to try and discredit Dr. Paul and his supporters and gives no true educated attempt to verify the claims made in it. The lack of a real name to the author goes to show how false and skewed the claims made here are. I trust that those reading will research the facts and make their own decisions based upon truth and logic.

The claim that Dr. Ron Paul is guilty by association, not only runs contrary to modern thinking it is also opposite of progressivism. The notion that you can be judged based upon a few who support you is the same idea that you can be blamed for the actions of your father. Racism is an idea which denies the individual and promotes the extreames of a few. Dr. Paul is an individual and not a group, those who support him are not him and this idea that because some with radical ideas support him makes Dr. Paul like them, is totally ignorant and void of simple logic.

On a personal note let me stress the fact that I have never been engaged in racial politics nor have I uttered a single racial or anti-Semitic remark. I find the accusation, even the possiblility of an illusion that I am or ever have been engaged in such things totally reprehensible, the very idea of prejudice based upon a persons ethinc, religious or racial background goes against every fiber of my being. And furthernore, as a Christian I am compelled and honored to respect the sovereignty of Israel and the Jewish people.

Dr. Ron Paul delivered over 4,000 babies.
Dr. Paul never voted to increase taxes or to expand the Federal government.
Dr. Paul served in the Air Force and has been in Congress for 10 terms.
Dr. Paul has always voted according to the Constitution.

Our wholesaler went out of business and we were unable to buy enough items for a good showing at the event so we have pulled out of OTD as vendors however we will be going with Carl Whitaker and we will be with him at the Business Tent passing our flyers and signing people up. The good news is that we are going to offer what we did buy on our site at discounted prices. Items will be placed on line with in the next few weeks.

The money that we spent reserving the space at OLD has been refunded and will go back into our general fund.

Deborah Schurman-Kauflin in CNN interviewBased on a one-year in-depth study, a researcher estimates there are about 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States who have had an average of four victims each.
Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta analyzed 1,500 cases from January 1999 through April 2006 that included serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides and child molestation committed by illegal immigrants.
She found that while the offenders were located in 36 states, most were in states with the highest numbers of illegal immigrants. California had the most offenders, followed by Texas, Arizona, New Jersey, New York and Florida.
Schurman-Kauflin concluded that, based on a figure of 12 million illegal immigrants and the fact that more of this population is male than average, sex offenders among illegals make up a higher percentage than offenders in the general population.
She arrives at the figure of 240,000 offenders – a conservative estimate, she says – through public records showing about 2 percent of illegals apprehended are sex offenders.
"This translates to 93 sex offenders and 12 serial sexual offenders coming across U.S. borders illegally per day," she says.
She points out the 1,500 offenders in her study had a total of 5,999 victims, and each sex offender averaged four victims.
"This places the estimate for victimization numbers around 960,000 for the 88 months examined in this study," she declares.
Schurman-Kauflin breaks down the 1,500 cases reviewed this way:
525, or 35 percent, were child molestations
358, or 24 percent, were rapes
617, or 41 percent, were sexual homicides and serial murders
Of the child molestations, 47 percent of the victims were Hispanic, 36 percent Caucasian, 8 percent Asian, 6 percent African American and 3 percent other nationalities.
In 82 percent of the cases, she noted, the victims were known to their attackers.
"In those instances, the illegal immigrants typically gained access to the victims after having worked as a day laborer at or near the victims' homes," she says. "Victims ranged in age from 1 year old to 13 years old, with the average age being 6."
In her examination of the sex-related homicides, Schurman-Kauflin found the most common method was for an offender to break into a residence and ambush his victims.
Not only were victims raped, she said, but some – 6 percent – were mutilated.
"The crime scenes were very bloody, expressing intense, angry perpetrator personalities," she said. "Specifically, most victims were blitzed, rendered incapable of fighting back, and then raped and murdered. The most common method of killing was bludgeoning, followed by stabbing."
She found it especially disturbing that in 22 percent of all sex crimes committed by illegal immigrants, victims with physical and mental disabilities were targeted.
The highest number of sex offenders, according to the study, came from Mexico. El Salvador was the original home to the next highest number. Other countries of origin included Brazil, China, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Russia, and Vietnam.
Nearly 63 percent of the offenders had been deported on another offense prior to the sex crime, the study showed. There was an average of three years of committing crimes such as DUI, assault or drug related offenses prior to being apprehended for a sexual offense.
In 81 percent of cases, offenders were drinking or using drugs prior to offending. Rapists and killers were more likely to use alcohol and drugs consistently than child molesters.
Only about 25 percent of offenders were found to have been stable within a community. In 31 percent of the crimes, the offenders entered into the communities where they offended within two months of the commission of their sex offenses.
But many, 79 percent, had been in the U.S. for more than one year before being arrested for a sex crime. They typically were known to the criminal justice system for prior, less serious offenses before they molested, raped or murdered, the study said.
Schurman-Kauflin concludes illegal immigrants gradually commit worse crimes and are continually released back into society or deported.
"Those who were deported simply returned illegally again," she says.
She points out that only 2 percent of the offenders in her study had no history of criminal behavior, beyond crossing the border illegally.
"There is a clear pattern of criminal escalation," she said.

Our first State Convention was a great success. We discussed new ways of membership recruitment and advertising and we agreed on a plan to help move the Jessica Lunsford Act forward.
Due to the fact that the rest of 2006 plans have been made out we focused on the next several years. You can look forward to many more radio and newspaper ads as well as events covering the State. Also we have developed a game plan for uniting with other similar organizations.

SPTN Endorses Austin Farly for State Rep. Dist. 97

I am proud to announce our endorsement of Austin Farly for State Rep. of Dist. 97.

Mr.Farley has agreed to our terms for endorsement and has sent us the completed paper work.
Mr. Farley's bio is below:

Austin Farley is a married, 34 year old father of four and 15-year resident of Shelby County. Austin hails originally from Arkansas but moved to TN in 1976. He grew up the son of a farmer/politician and schoolteacher in rural Rossville, TN. This background enabled Austin to appreciate the meaning of hard work and a good education. Watching his father’s involvement in politics lit the fire in Austin to do the same.
The state of affairs in the state of TN also spurred Austin to action. In 2002 Austin launched his first campaign for TN State Representative in District 97. Although this attempt didn’t succeed he made a good friend in opponent James Edwards. Austin and James continue this friendship today in the form of their radio program. The Political Cesspool a populist, Constitutional conservative radio program first aired on 1600 AM WMQM in October of 2004. The program continues today on 1380 AM WLRM. Through the program Austin and James have worked with numerous organizations to bring forth positive change in the system local, state and national. Austin brings his no nonsense in your face attitude to the program and has no problem holding the politicians’ feet to the fire. He even goes so far to say, "forget the feet I will hold their heads to the fire!”
Austin is active in the community on numerous fronts. The aforementioned radio program is just the tip of the iceberg. Austin is a member of numerous gun rights organizations including the NRA and TFA. He also holds a membership in the Memphis Sport Shooting Association. Austin is the West TN Coordinator of the Tennessee Volunteer Minutemen, an organization put together with the support of the Minuteman Project. The purpose of the TN Vol. Minutemen is to report the employers of illegal aliens to the proper authorities. Austin was named, along with his CO-host James Edwards an honorary member of the Memphis City Council for work within the community. Austin introduced Clean Fuels Technology to his good friend Memphis City Councilman E.C. Jones. Clean Fuels Technology a firm specializing in additives for diesel fuel that make them run cleaner was also introduced to Bartlett, Arlington, Millington, Collierville, and Jackson, TN.

WSMV is doing an piece on Christian Exodus. I was the TN Co-Chairman and had a part in the formation of CE. The interview was 1hr on tape and 45min. of camera. There were several chances for me to talk about the Southern Party of Tennessee as well. I have not seen the final cut, what will be aired, but I believe that it will be fair.

Chairmans Updates 01/10/06

Greeting my fellow compatriots,

I would like to update you on whats going onin the SPTN.

First we have introduced the creation of a book, Arise Again Dixie, I have published a seperate post for it so I won't go into any more detail here.

Secondly the 2006 State Convention will be held April 14, in Nahville. Due to the nature of our frist convention and the amount of buisness that must be completed it will for 2006 only be closed to the public. If you would like to attend please send an emial to secretarysptn@yahoo.com

We have also began talking with several local radio stations and with in 3-4 months we should have ads on 3 of them with a total listenership of 600,000. More on this as it comes.

And finally we are trying to secure a booth at Old Timers Day Sept 16, 2006 in LaVergne TN its looking very promising. Old Timers Day is a large and very popular festival in Middle TN with thousands attending. As soon as plans are complete a supplementary post will be made.

Arise Again Dixie is a collaborative work with contributors from across this great Southland. It takes the issue of modern Southern independence head on and provides legal, moral and historical proofs and reasons for our independence.

Arise Again Dixie proves that the South is still a free nation and that all we need to do, in a manor of speaking, is fill the offices of government.

Arise Again Dixie also goes into greater detail and answers many more questions and issues facing the South and the idea of Southern freedom in a way that the Grey Book by the LOS could never have done.

The SPTN is seeking article submissions and other writings to be included in the book. Articles should they be accepted will be placed in our Collected Writings chapter and if you have any thoughts you would like to see placed as part of the main book on the issues of secession, abortion, taxes, gun control, States rights etc. please send those along as well.

Arise Again Dixie is still in the writing phase and won't be ready for publishing until the end of 2006, however any submissions need to be made by the end of March in order for us to adequately review and place them.

First and foremost my name is Rev. Jacob Bogle. Next I would like to set the record straight.
In Jan. 05 I worte my resignation. After many months of having heard nothing from Mr. Cook, I cited health and lack of communication and support from Madison and several others within the movement as my reasons for resigning.
I have never spoken to Mr.Dodd nor any e-mail communications. He called me Monday at 8pm then wrote his little speech which was posted here at 10am today. I have had no time to respond. I question the integrity of man who blasts a complete stranger let alone a fellow Southerner. The SIPTN went nearly a year without any activity, the party was over. Madison came up out of nowhere and assumend that all was well.
Mr. Dodd, if you get this before I get to talk with you, I demand you write a retraction at once.
Ladies and Gentlemen of the South, I have spent countless dollars, hours and miles fighting for the South and Tennessee and I will not let anyone regardless of how long they have been with the movement try and destroy my reputation or damage Tennessee in any way.

Since the departure of the last State Vice Chairman Jason(Jacob) Bogle, there has been a sense of displacement among the leadership of the Southern Independence Party of Tennessee. Mr. Boyles(Bogle), now founder of the Southern Party of Tennessee, could not be reached for his comments as to why he left. â€œLeaving the way he did and his disgraceful resignation letter he let was uncalled forâ€¦â€ Ex-State Vice Chairman Stuart Dodd commented. â€œI am glad Stuart has returned from his sabbatical to take the reins of the SIPTNâ€ stated by Madison Cook, who will soon be named State Chairman Emeritus. Stuart Dodd will soon begin his new post as State Chairman after the proper paperwork has been filed. â€œI have been with Madison since the Southern Nationalist political movement began and hope I can live up to his expectations in the futureâ€¦â€ Stuart stated, â€œMadison is more than a mentor since we have been together, he has also been a good friendâ€. Memphis Attacks

As I stated earlier the remarks by the Mayor were weak and cowardly. It shows that he and is consorts are lacking in leadership and backbone. This will be remembered come election time.
Should the parks face renaming again we will reinstate the boycott and utilize all assets to make our position clear.
The Confederate Parks will not be renamed! Any and all attempts to rename the parks will be met with all legal force.

With the following as part of Jessica’s Law “a minimum of 25 years in prison for anyone over 18 years of age who is convicted of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 12, mandatory GPS monitoring for life, and a mandatory life sentence for anyone convicted of a second offense.”

Fellow Tennesseans,

The news of Memphis Mayor Willie Herenton's decision not to rename the 3 Confederate Parks is good news. It shows that we the citizens of this State still can make a difference. However, his statements do not offer a permanent solution rather, passing the buck "...ask the City Council to give the parks to the University of Tennessee and a nonprofit corporation helping develop the city's riverfront."
But this is still none the less a great victory for the SPTN and indeed the nation.
So now let me say that the SPTN will no longer boycott the City of Memphis.

The Fight is not Over!

Earlier this week the Center City Commission voted to send a resolution to the City Council of Memphis advising them to change the names of 3 Confederate Parks in Memphis. This grand show of ignorance will not go unanswered. The Executive Committee of the SPTN has passed the following resolutions,

Resolution 1
Where as the City of Memphis has shown disgrace to its Southern Ancestry.
Where as the Center City Commission has passed a proposal to rename 3 Confederate Parks in Memphis.
Where as the acts committed by the CCC amount to the re-writing of history
Where as the Southern Party of Tennessee is pledged to defend the heritage of our State.
Let it be resolved that the Southern Party of Tennessee urges all members, citizens of the State of Tennessee and all people of good conscious to boycott the City of Memphis and all businesses based in Memphis until the issue of the Confederate Parks is resolved in our favor.

The Executive Committee of the SPTN shall create a State Heritage Defense Fund. To be used in the defense and promotion of Southern Heritage in our State.
The EC SPTN also passed a resolution which will place 20% of all monies donated to the SPTN into the SHDF.
